How do I sign up to
attend KlezKamp?
Catalogs, including a registration form, for KlezKamp are
mailed several months before Kamp starts. The registration
form may also be downloaded (in
PDF format). A deposit (check, money order or credit card)
must accompany completed registration forms. No registrations
will be accepted without a deposit. This year, we are also
offering payment with Mastercard or Visa. We can now accept
faxed registrations if payment is by credit card. Fax number
is 212-532-8238.
Registration deadline is November 15. Registrations received
after that date will be accepted on a space available basis.
All balances should be paid by December 5.
After your registration form is processed, you will receive
a confirmation letter with directions to the hotel and other
details.

I live nearby. Can
I attend KlezKamp, but not stay at the hotel?
Yes! We now offer a commuter rate for those who want to attend
Kamp, but not stay at the hotel. This includes all classes,
meals, and evening events.

The commuter rates
sounds great, but I really don't need to eat breakfast at
the hotel. Can I get a discount?
The commuter rate is the same no matter how many of the program
options you choose to take advantage of. And remember, getting
to the hotel in time to join some of your colleagues for breakfast
can actually enhance your experience of the Kamp community.

Can I show up at the
hotel and register for KlezKamp then?
Only those who have registered in advance for KlezKamp may
attend any class or activity, with the exception of the public
evening concerts.

I am unable to attend
KlezKamp for the whole week. Can I come by for a day?
KlezKamp is a carefully planned educational event rather
than a festival of Yiddish culture. There isnt much
to be gained from joining us (popping by) for a day, and having
people coming and going can be quite disruptive to classes.
Therefore, we do not permit part-time registrations. You can,
however, get a taste of the community be coming to one or
more of the evening programs that are open to the public.
See the catalog for details about what is happening this year,
and when.

I have friends who
would like to check out KlezKamp. Can they come by for a few
hours?
As noted above, we have several events which are opened to
the public. Other than that we allow no visitors or guests.
Period.

The tuition costs
are kind of high for my means. Is there any way to make Kamp
more affordable?
There are a limited number of work-study positions available.
Applications for work-study positions should accompany a completed
registration form and deposit. Please include a letter indicating
your interest and what skills you can offer. Work-study positions
are available in the KlezKids program, the Epes Center and
technical (sound and recording) assistance. No work study
applications will be considered unless accompanied by a completed
registration form and deposit.
