Hear some of the greatest Yiddish records ever made and the
fascinating stories behind them.

A rare opportunity for non-musicians to hear Pete Sokolow’s
insights on the relationship of early jazz and popular music
and Yiddish music from 1920 to 1955. The “Perfesser”
will demonstrate at the piano and share examples of historic
recordings from his amazing personal collection. Not to be
