The Program

KlezKamp begins after lunch on Tuesday, December 23, with arrival and check-in beginning at 2pm. Those wanting or needing to arrive earlier may make arrangements directly with the Swan Lake Resort. In the afternoon, there will be meetings for those campers given a work-study position, followed by a very important meeting for the parents of children in the KlezKids program at 5:30pm. After dinner, there will be a brief orientation for both newcomers and veteran campers, followed by our not-to-be-missed staff concert and dancing to live music.

Classes begin on Wednesday. On Friday, the schedule will be altered because of the beginning of Shabbos: PM2 classes will be moved to after havdole on Saturday evening, before dinner. On Shabbos morning, there will be both orthodox and egalitarian services, as well as special secular programming. Please note: During Shabbos there will be no instrumental music permitted in any public areas of the hotel.

Classes culminate in the student concert on Sunday night. There are no classes on Monday, and the last meal provided is lunch on that day; for those needing to depart early, a carry-out option for lunch will be available.
